These potato stamps are fun and easy to make. All you need are mini cookie cutters, potatoes and stamp pads. Cut the potatoes in half. Press the cookie cutter flush into the potato. Carve into the cookie cutter and pop off the excess potato. Pull out the cookie cutter.
Grab some paper and a stamp pad and stamp away!
Eric Carle is one of my favorite children's book authors. I love the bright, colorful and playful images he creates in his books – they make me smile big!
For this activity, cut out various shapes of colored paper. Without using pencils, have the children layer the pieces of paper to create shapes that resemble different vegetables, animals, tools and more! Once shapes are created, glue down.
